The 2025 Rocky Mountain Roundup brought our community together at Denver’s Althea Center for an inspiring weekend under the theme Sparkle and Soar! ✨
🍦Friday Night Kickoff We launched with an uplifting keynote by Blair F. (NY), enjoyed an Ice Cream Social, and laughed through Drag Bingo emceed by Miss Jessica L'Whor—who wowed everyone with live musical numbers! 🎤
🎨Saturday Creative Community & Workshops Saturday featured a full day of connection! In honor of National Coming Out Day, attendees dropped by the Fellowship Hall to participate in the RMRU Collage Project with supplies generously provided by Colorado Artists in Recovery(CAIR). We also held morning Yoga, powerful workshops on Tools for Serenity, Trauma, and Boundaries, and enjoyed catered meals together. 🍽️
🎙️Saturday Night Finale We closed out the weekend with a Countdown Celebration, an evening keynote, stand-up comedy from Douglas G., and closing remarks! 🎉

📍 The Ambiance & Setting
Set high above downtown Denver, the venue delivered breathtaking skyline views, brilliant sunset lighting, and a cozy penthouse vibe complete with a pool table and a lavish charcuterie spread. Various Pride and Trans flags hung proudly throughout the room, setting the tone for an inclusive, joyful, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
🌟 Dazzling Looks & Showstopping Moments: From shimmering sequin dresses and metallic halter tops to cowboy boots, rainbow suspenders, sparkly mesh, and a jaw-dropping veiled noir outfit, everyone brought their absolute brightest fashion energy!
🪩 Indoor Sparkle Pageant & Risqué Performances: Hosted and emceed by the iconic Mona Mystic, the party kicked off inside with the official Sparkle Pageant right around the pool table! The energy was electric as Mona turned up the heat with some showstopping, risqué performance numbers. Contestants strutted through the room—and even a shirtless cowboy got in on the action, crawling across the pool table!—all vying for the grand prize: a free registration to RMRU 2025!
📸 The Rooftop Photo Shoots: After the wild indoor pageant wrapped up, everyone headed out to the rooftop deck by the pool! The deck was buzzing as attendees struck poses against the Denver skyline—cheering, throwing arms in the air, and waving giant folding fans with big laughs and pure joy.
💬 Thank You for Shining! Whether you were competing in the pageant, striking a pose on the deck, or soaking in the wild performances, thank you to everyone who attended and brought their magic to the night.

What an incredible night! We gathered at The Pullman for our kickoff 2025 fundraiser event, where the room was filled with radiant energy, sleek style, and pure fellowship—all in support of making the upcoming Rocky Mountain Roundup accessible to everyone!
🌟 Highlights & Showstopping Moments
🍸 Mocktails & Charcuterie: Guests spent the evening sipping fine, handcrafted non-alcoholic mocktails and enjoying a delicious, lavish charcuterie spread while catching up with old friends and connecting with new ones.
✨ White, Gold & Beige Dress Code: The catch for the evening? Everyone had to show up in casual chic white, gold, or beige! Attendees absolutely delivered—from elegant lace tops and gold accessories to layered neutral tones, the entire space was glowing with bright, stylish energy.
📸 Fellowship with a Purpose: Laughter filled the air as guests snapped photos and celebrated recovery together.
